World Team Championship

From 18 to 29 April the Armenian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE, hosts the World Team Chess Championship in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor, Armenia. Ten teams (Russia, China, Hungary, India, USA, Egypt, Ukraine, Armenia, Cuba, Israel) compete in a round-robin on four boards per match. Each match will be scored by match points as used in the FIDE Olympiad; the winning team receives 2 points, a draw will give each team 1 point, and a loss is scored as 0 points. Players receive 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 additional minutes for the rest of the game with a 30 second increment added per move from move 1. Official site: http://wtcc2015.am
