ICGA World Computer Chess Championship
The Baron vs. Shredder
The International Computer Games Association World Chess Software Championship is a computer chess championship that has been running intermittently since 1974. The 2019 event takes place during the ICGA Conference in Macau, China and is a 6-player double round-robin.
The requirements for participants to be present on-site, play on a physical board and strict rules on originality mean many strong chess engines don't compete in the event. The time control is 45 minutes for all moves, with a 15-second increment per move. Official website: icga.org
