London Chess Classic: Blitz

The London Chess Classic 2014 is a six player all play all tournament. The starting numbers for the players will be decided by the order in which they finish in a double round blitz tournament that will be played on Monday 8th December. A drawing of lots will allocate the starting number to the player for the blitz tournament. The time limit for the blitz tournament will be 4 minutes + 2 seconds from the first move. The players will play both blitz games against each other consecutively. Players receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. The winner of the blitz tournament will choose his pairing number in the main tournament. The second placed player will then choose his number and so on. Official site: www.londonchessclassic.com
