The 2015 Dutch Chess Championship is an 8-player round-robin taking place in The Manor Hotel, Amsterdam, from 5-12 July. The favourite is world no. 6 and 3-time champion Anish Giri, whose rivals include 7-time and defending champion Loek van Wely and Sergei Tiviakov (2 wins).
The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with a 30 second per move increment from move 1. The players have a single rest day on July 9th. A rapid playoff will be played if players tie for first place. Official website: www.nkschaken.nl
