Our live broadcasts of major chess events like Norway Chess are being enjoyed by more and more chess fans all around the globe. Until now, however, you’ve often been tied down to using a laptop or desktop computer, while such everyday activities as work, cooking and shopping got in the way of the chess. Now there’s a solution! The latest versions of the chess24 apps feature live broadcasts, so you can check out the top tournaments at any moment – and all in real time.
The tournament overview gives you access to all the games from current and past tournaments. Selecting a game takes you to a view that not only gives you the current position and moves but lets you analyse with a chess engine and an opening tree of past games (for non-premium members the engine depth is limited to 12 and the opening tree to the first 6 moves). You can also try out your own moves and – something you can’t yet do on our website! – analyse them using the engine.
