Q&A with David Llada

38-year-old Spaniard David Llada has been involved with chess for almost two decades as a journalist, organiser, author and, most recently, a photographer. He's built up a reputation as one of the world's best and will soon publish The Thinkers, a book in which he gathers together some of his favourite photographs. Do you have a question you'd like to ask him either about his work or simply about the characters and places he's visited over his career?

David has stored up a wealth of anecdotes and experiences from the multitude of top events he's visited, with perhaps the Chess Olympiads and Millionaire Chess standing out. When he attends a tournament the players already know that they'll have the chance to be immortalised in action.

We're going to interview him in the near future and would like to give you the opportunity to pose your own questions by commenting underneath this article. You have until the evening of Sunday 8 October, so don't delay!

As the father of two daughters, David drew on his own experience for his book, "Chess for parents and educators"
