Peter Svidler is one of the younger legends in the chess24 Legends of Chess, but the 44-year-old is already an 8-time Russian Chess Champion after first winning that title as an 18-year-old back in 1994. He's also a World Cup winner and 3-time chess960 World Champion, and chess24 Premium members now have a chance to ask him a question for his Q&A session this Friday 24 July at 21:00 CEST. Simply leave a question in the comments section below.
Peter is not only one of the most talented dynamic chess players of our age but a brilliant speaker, who has made a second career as a commentator, as well as authoring five video series here on chess24, including the monumental The Grünfeld according to Svidler.
The Q&A session is part of a feast for chess fans that sees all 10 players in the chess24 Legends of Chess playing both Banter Blitz and giving a Q&A session. The upcoming action, including Ian Nepomniachtchi playing Banter Blitz today, is as follows:
Thursday 23rd July
Friday 24th July
Saturday 25th July
Sunday 26th July
We've already had sessions with Vishy Anand, Vasyl Ivanchuk and Vladimir Kramnik, and you can rewatch it all on our YouTube channel:
