Pre-Tal Memorial Q&A with Peter Svidler

We’ve been spoiled rotten with Peter Svidler shows in the last week, with no less than four Banter Blitz sessions! He’s about to embark on a busy schedule that starts with the Tal Memorial (Kramnik, Anand, Aronian…) in 10 days’ time, but first we have one last treat – a Q&A  session where you can ask the 7-time Russian Champion a question and see it answered in his live show on Saturday.

The format is simple – leave a question (only one, so Peter can answer them all) in the comments section under this article and Peter will respond during the show:

While everyone can watch the show Peter will only answer questions from chess24 Premium Members. For only $9.99 a month you can also play Peter and our other stars in Banter Blitz, get unlimited use of the Tactics Trainer, powerful cloud analysis of your games and any moves you make while watching tournament broadcasts and, of course, full access to hundreds of hours of chess videos, including four series by Peter himself:

If you have any doubts about the format of the show check out Peter’s last Q&A session from January (this time, though, Svidler will be flying solo from St. Petersburg):

A plea from Peter Svidler

Peter's one request to the world is that you don’t ask a variation on the question: “My rating is currently X and my age is Y. What should I do to get to rating Z in the near future?”

Peter explained in yesterday’s Banter Blitz that he's answered that many, many times before:

Don’t let that discourage you, though, as there’s an endless series of topics you can address to the best talker in chess!

Leave your question below and then sit back and enjoy the show:
