New for Premium-only: YOU can vote players back in!

Do you have a favourite player you'd love to see compete against the best in the Champions Chess Tour? Or perhaps you want to see someone represent your country?

Now the Champions Chess Tour is up and running we are giving chess24 Premium members and Tour Pass holders the chance to have an influence on who plays in the next big event.

Following the end of the Skilling Open on November 30, YOU can vote a name to receive their invitation to join the line-up for the first Champions Chess Tour "Major" of the season, which starts on December 26.

For the first time, chess24 will allow our community to have a say on who gets a golden ticket to the tour and the chance to compete in one of only three "Majors".

For the players, this is a huge deal. The tournament winner will pocket a cool $60,000 top prize (out of a $200,000 prize fund) plus a seat in the Tour Finals in September.

In total, there are four wild cards for the next event. And of those four, two will be chosen by you, our chess24 Premium members or Tour Pass holders. If for any reason a player can't make it, the chance will be offered to the next on the list.

The first will be chosen from the grouping below of players who were knocked out of the Skilling Open:

The second choice will be from a selection of players who did not play in this tournament.

Voting will end on Sunday, November 29th at 00:00 CET and the winner will be announced on the final day of the Skilling Open. The process for stage one is simple: complete this poll!
