To say that Jan’s latest Opening Clinic has been “long-awaited” would be something of an understatement, but he’s finally back. What has Jan been doing in the meantime? Well, apart from commentating on tournaments and playing Plants vs. Zombies and Monkey Island on his Twitch channel, Jan helped Magnus Carlsen to yet another World Championship triumph. The Marshall, the backbone of Jan’s 1.e4 e5 Chessable course, was the main defence Magnus chose to hold off Ian Nepomniachtchi with Black in Dubai.
Team Magnus have been giving a behind-the-scenes look at how they prepared Magnus and helped him win the 2021 World Chess Championship match.
It seems that’s not all we can expect from Team Magnus in the near future!
