Jan begins Episode 4 of Series 22 of his Opening Clinic with, "I should add a disclaimer here that I'm not a real doctor", but when it comes to chess opening ailments there's nowhere better to turn! Once again he tackles some very specific questions from chess24 Premium members and also responds to more general queries along the lines of, "How do I play for a win with Black against 1.d4?" and, "Is it possible to have a repertoire based on 1.Nf3 and 2.b3?" The short answer to that last one is, "yes, but", while Jan's longer answer includes, "What a repertoire! I'm not sure we can be friends...".
