Jan's Opening Clinic 22: Part 1

Season 22 of Jan's Opening Clinic gets off to a wobbly start when Jan comments, "I’m in a bad mood, I haven’t slept enough, I’m not well-dressed and I’m not well-prepared for the questions... I’ll be condescending and more rude and less helpful than usual!" We needn't have feared, though, since who else can solve the world's chess opening problems while talking about, "the poster that 1.Nc3 players have hanging over their beds" and the discovery of crack cocaine in Hamburg chess circles!
