For Premium-only: Vote on second wild card for the next Champions Chess Tour event

The first $200,000 "Major" of the new Champions Chess Tour season is nearly upon us - and we're giving you the chance to choose who gets the next golden ticket to it.

Eight top players have qualified from last month's Skilling Open to compete in the event that starts straight after Christmas on December 26, with full details to be revealed next week.

The Spanish champion David Anton Guijarro has also already been chosen by Premium members to line up alongside them. But, that leaves three places left to fill and - for one of them - that's where we need your vote.

The poll is only open to chess24 Premium members and Tour Pass holders - so if you want a say, grab your membership now.

For the players, this is a huge deal. Right now, the Champions Chess Tour is the biggest game in town. The tournament winner will pocket a cool $60,000 top prize (out of a $200,000 prize fund) plus a seat in the Tour Finals in September.

The second tournament wildcard will be chosen from the grouping below of players who did not take part in the Skilling Open:

If for any reason a player can't make it, the chance will be offered to the next on the list. Voting will end on Monday, December 14th at 00:00 CET and the winner will be announced on the following day. The process for stage one is simple: complete this poll!
