Every day is a chess feast during the Olympiad, but one particular event stands apart from the rest – the Bermuda Party! We take a glimpse back at an event that gathered a huge crowd on the eve of the first rest day.
The big party for the Olympiad participants took place over three floors at Driv in Tromsø. There were bright lights, funky music, dancing, Bermuda cocktails, art decor by Olympiad artist Chris Reddy and a screening of the 1925 silent film, “Chess Fever”:
