Welcome to Cutting Edge KID! My name is Robin van Kampen and I'm a Dutch grandmaster. I've been playing the King's Indian for about five years, starting when I became an International Master at the age of fourteen. I've analysed this opening with many grandmasters and also conducted extensive opening research for one of the world's best players, Anish Giri, which has given me a firm understanding of the main lines.I've crafted this series from a theoretical point of view, but I think by reviewing all the chapters you will also gain a keen understanding of the strategies and the general "feel" with which you should play this opening.
The eBook and its accompanying video series are structured but it's not necessary to proceed through the chapters in strictly chronological order. You can also focus on the lines that appeal most to your repertoire, of course.
We'll start with the Classical Main Line. Thanks for reading!
The eBook companion to GM Robin van Kampen's comprehensive guide to modern King's Indian theory! All the theory in one compact easy to review format.
Gain a deep understanding of the King's Indian Defence and be prepared for all the critical lines
