8th Gashimov Memorial

The 2022 Vugar Gashimov Memorial is an 10-player tournament taking place from December 18 to 23 in Baku. The tournament consists of a Rapid and a Blitz tournament with a double round-robin system for each. Players receive 15 minutes plus 10 seconds per move in Rapid and 3 minutes plus 2 seconds per move in Blitz. The final standing of the players shall be determined according to sum of points of the Rapid and Blitz tournaments. Players earn 2 points for a win in rapid and 1 point in blitz.
