"Chess to Remember" is an annual 5-round rapid swiss tournament organized by Homentemen, Toronto. It aims to raise public awareness about the imperative to foresee and prevent Genocides and Crimes against Humanity in the future, notably by promoting the recognition and affirmation of the Armenian Genocide and all Genocides. We play to remember… Homenetmen, the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, founded in 1918, is a non-profit worldwide organization with ninety chapters and 25,000 members on five continents. The Toronto chapter provides family oriented scouting, athletic, cultural, educational and community-volunteer programs.
