Tehran Women's FIDE Grand Prix

The 2016 Tehran Grand Prix is the second of four stages in the 2015-16 FIDE Grand Prix series that will determine who plays a 10-game match against the Women's World Champion in 2017. The 12-player all-play-all event runs from 11-23 February in the Iranian Chess Federation HQ. The winner takes home €10,000, with top seed Humpy Koneru and her rivals having a chance to exploit the absence of Mariya Muzychuk and Hou Yifan ahead of their World Championship match. Players have 90 minutes for 40 moves then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. Official website
