Moscow Open

The Moscow Open is a huge chess festival featuring over 1500 players across multiple events. The main A Open is a 9-round Swiss Open held in the Russian State Social University in Moscow from 27 January to 4 February 2018. Over 200 players compete for a 500,000 roubles (over $8,000) first prize. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. Official website: www.open.moscowchess.org
