Tradewise Gibraltar Masters

The 2016 Tradewise Gibraltar Masters features former World Champion Vishy Anand, defending Champion and US no. 1 Hikaru Nakamura and French no. 1 Maxime Vachier-Lagrave at the top of an incredible 250-player field. The 10-round Swiss Open, now in its 14th year, takes place in the Caleta Hotel, Gibraltar from 26 January to the 4 February. The overall top prize is £20,000, with Women's World Champion Mariya Muzychuk among the players vying for the women's top prize of £15,000. Players have 100 minutes for 40 moves, then 50 minutes for 20 moves and finally 15 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1.
