Houdini 5 vs. Stockfish 8

The final of the 2016 Top Chess Engine Championship (TCEC) is a 100-game match that started on 11 November between the computer chess engines Houdini 5 and Stockfish 8. The participants battled their way through 3 gruelling stages involving 32 engines to qualify for the final. The time control is 180 minutes for all moves, with a 15-second increment from move 1. 50 pre-selected openings are used, with each engine playing them once with White and Black.
