17th Karpov Poikovsky Tournament

The 17th edition of the Anatoly Karpov International Chess Tournament is taking place in the small Siberian town of Poikovsky in Russia from 23 July to 1 August. The 10-player round-robin has a long tradition, with only Andreikin, Kovalenko and Matlakov playing for the first time. The time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves, then 50 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1.
