ISCO Honeybee & Butterfly

ISCO Honeybee & Butterfly

(A honeybee and Monarch butterfly on coneflower are greeted by one of our volunteers in July.)

ISCO (Inter-Species Chess Outreach) is going strong as autumn nears.

We find that introducing chess to most species is best done at feeding time, and our garden provides a variety of tasty native flowers.

As was previously reported, 2 of our volunteers were lost in the undergrowth, this black pawn and a white pawn. We guess they are healthy and continuing their outreach until such time as we can locate them.

Most of our target customers fly off soon after we introduce ourselves, but those that are able to hear our sales pitch seem receptive to learning more about chess. The entire ISCO team is energized.
